To get my Dad to agree with getting 2 piggies; Bill and Ben...

I have my heart set on these so i really need my Dad to say yessssss

:smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I will be very upset if he says no though and will probably cry alot!

hmm yes there may be a few money issues in my house as my mum only has a small job and my dad may lose his job

He's finding a new one though

i need approx costs a month from you lot for 2 piggies

thats not too bad... its only £20 for the chinnies and thats only if i have to buy hay and food that month

so about £40 and £28 for horse riding

£68

Not THAT bad for me! and the things i buy food shopping comes to about £20 soooo in general i only spend £88 a month on stuff a month

Actually wouldnt it be less cos i spilt the cost of hay with the chinchillas...

Cry i say, cry, cry and cry some more might work ;D Or maybe say you'll do loads of extra house wor for him :)

wat i did was kept on asking them and they finaly gave up oh andwhen my mum said to w8 6 months i bawled my eyes out 2 days later i got elvis

when i just had my oldest 2 holly and meggie i use to speend about £7 or 8 a week as my dad gets there hay from the farm so didnt have to pay for the hay was jsut the food

but now i have 12 piggies i speend about £30 to £40 a week on food and every 2 weeks or so i need to get timonthy hay for pah and about every 2 months or so i need get there dry food

and i need to save up for there trip to the kennls for a week there will be about £60 for the week

Less is more. Just drop a couple of hints (fairly big hints as you know men), such as telling your dad about Bill and Ben. If you keep going on the answer shall more then likely be no. However, think carefully as to whether you would be able to afford two guineas at this moment in time. If not wait a couple of months, using that time to talk your dad around. I hope you get them, but if you don't I hope you get a couple soon. :)

Don't forget the unexpected potential vet costs to factor into working out affordability too.

Good point, as well as buying the equipment to start with. :)

Have you asked him yet, goodluck with it :)

Well i'm off to do abit of asking myself but i have a well thought out plan of action, lol i'm going to sacrifice the piggie she said i could get so i can get 2 baby gerbils to put in with ger using split cage. So lets hope we both have luck with the pets we want :)
