On the second photo you can see an upside down V.
 
I still don't see it :( I was assuming that his fur looked that way because it's sticking up.. it's ok we'll find out what's up when I get him booked in.
 
It is difficult to tell from a photo. Hopefully this new vet will have some answers for you.
