Lola was very fat although having the correct diet she just didnt want to move what so ever shes to laid back for her own good! If you watch the video you can get an idea of her progress :))

Also :red I got Lola's breed wrong, when we started to film I was told she was a mini lop, she is infact a dwarf lop so even at her heaviest she was still within the normal weight range :)
 
Well done, you did really well with her. Couldn't believe the size of that skunk!

I would say she is still chunky but due to her dental issue's & gut problems my vet said its essential she has a little fat on her for when she gets ill :)
 
She's definitely lost a lot of weight, thats very clear to see. When I had rabbits they all got a bit overweight and it is very hard to get them to be more active. In the end we had to cut there food right down and that helped alot.
 
That's awful. To be shot down in flames I mean. I think you were doing your best to make up for sheer laziness in your rabbit and it obviously worked. You had to seek help to sort out the problem, but so would most animal owners.

To shoot you down in flames when you are trying to help your bunny is downright nasty, it shows a total lack of understanding of the situation. (I mean that your rabbit Lola was basically lazy) I'm glad the people on this forum are more understanding than that!

Thats a selected few, I mean they didn't know me on that forum I had just basically joined up and the vet on the tv said I was feeding the correct diet mallethead

Now does this really look like animal abuse and being cruel to my little princess?

I don't know some people are quick to comment I had support off a handful of people and it was nice. If they knew the half of what I have done for Lola they would take back everything! x
 
I can tell she is very loved. She has lost weight... I could do with some tips on that myself! My guinea pigs are big for their age (according to vet) but they are getting the proper diet and care (thanks to all the info you all give me here). I think those that are cruel or abusive to their animals, don't spend time on forums finding information. They just don't care.

I think Lola and I would get on great! I don't like exercise too much either!
 
i love how in the before and after pics she's doing exactly the same face. :))

i also love how much better she looks. x well done for all your hard work.
 
I remember Lola! I loved that series and my boyfriend and I fell in love with Lola especially. x)

I am so sorry you had such horrible comments from people. I never even thought Lola was big enough to be called overweight. I can see how much you love and care for her. I love her castle. I cannot believe all her Christmas presents! You are a fantastic mum and Lola is so spoiled and loved.
 
Ooooh i remember watching this! Hehe! I think you've done a brilliant job with Lola and wow to all your birthday and christmas presents for her!
