I would just like to start by making a public apology to Miss Piggy for the mess I have made of her hair and also let everyone know for the safety of all salon users I won't EVER be going into hairdressing :)).

:(|) I decided I would give her a quick last of the summer snip before we give anymore rescues a call so she'd look her best when she meets her new friend... Think I may have done the complete opposite XD may need to let it grow back a little bit before we go anywhere. Let's all just be thankfull that I'm not going into the hair business :)). She'll be getting a fair bit of extra bedding tonight to keep her warm :).

Its always better IMO to have manageable layers than long tangles/matts. She looks fab - I wouldn't worry - I have had similar snip experiences where cutting their hair (eg so they dont have wee soaked back ends etc) is more important than their looks

Looks fine to me. She looks like shes had her hair coloured as well.
And the cut will give her nethers a good airing.
 
Lol all I can do is laugh when I look at her at the moment. Miss Piggy says thank you for all the nice comments on her new hair cut. And very true CandyFloss wouldn't like to be dealing with matts :).
 
I have done my first piggy as well this summer, Caron who has masses of very fine hair, and I can only say that it is anything but easy! mallethead
 
It looks good :) You did a way better job then I could ever do. I only ever had one long-haired piggy and I was terrible at cutting his hair! :))
 
It's the 'Rachel from friends' look! She'll be much cooler. Gorgeous piggy x)
 
Cupcake has the same cut, it's very fashionable. Not that Cupcake agrees, she won't talk to me for days afterwards.
 
Aww! She has layers! Cute! It'll grow back if you don't like it... But it's fine:)

This is the one thing that really concerns me about having long haireds. I really want some but hair cutting will not be my strong point!
 
The long haired guinea pig I had was called Poppy and I would spend hours trimming her hair so it was even, straight and made her look pretty...when my mum did it, she'd give her an oblong bowl cut!

SIGH so you have been attacked with the dreaded snippy clippy things too eh.......:{ sheeeesh are they noisey and well dam scarey!
My darling sister has told me you look absolutely gorgeous, even with your cute locks snapped off (tsk our slaves eh)....... me just wanted to sympathise with you as my, erm our slave does the same to me......HUMPH..........loosing our locks is so well just not right! PIGGIES UNITE............. erm yeah well

soooooooooo me and my sis (Onyx) sends you some loves, and lets you know that those gorgeous loooong locks will return ..... with a bit of time
