Meadow Hay.

@BellaBoo07 Yep, it's fine. It's like all hay and veg, it depends on the quality. Some meadow hay can be really soft and smells wonderful but some can be damp and musty smelling.

It's what I personally prefer to feed my piggies. Lots of different varieties of grass in it, herbs, plants etc, nice and soft..I rarely have any issues with hay poke with it (2 or 3 in about 16 years!) If you're getting it from a farm, make sure you inspect it really well before purchase, it can look brown on the outside especially this year for some reason, but itll likely be more green inside. It should smell sweet and fresh, any musty, damp smelling hay should be avoided. Have a bit of a dig in the bale with your fingers to make sure it's not mouldy or damp.
If it's being bought from a shop though it should have gone through some sort of quality control.
