After my Neuter logs I figured I should make a bonding log for my mini herd as well.

So, the 6-week wait was over on Sunday and I prepared a C&C cage with waterproof bedcover as base for the reunion floor.

and I'll let the videos show you how it went.

It's boring quiet and you just see them eating but that's just the best sign that they're already peaceful with one another and not feel threatened by Leo.

Leo gets bullied around by his sister then another piggy screams at me for forgetting to put water in there xD

I cleaned the main cage and put them back after seeing the initial bonding a success and started seeing some tension and Leo pushing his flirting a bit too much then getting his hair plucked by his mom.

Still no blood drawn so I kept them together and they needed the hierarchy worked out, I couldn't record the fights and scruffles but all my girls are mean girls and fast when aggressive so it's easy to get hair plucked when one piggy is just trying to nip, they're all teenagers and/or barely adults and reaching their the prime so not past that aggressive age yet.

It helps when I blow quick puffs of air at the angry pig and bring out the hay bag calling for meal time, I still try not to interrupt every single time but occasionally go in. These fights kept happening during the end of the first day till the third day, and during those days, Leo didn't manage to mount any of the females (they were mean girls indeed XD)
Other than that, they pretty much accepted him into the herd.

After day 3, Koochi and Tutta (Mom and aunt piggies) finally accepted him and I saw him successfully mounting the two of them and finally seeing the tension and chasing die down and Leo calm down a bit for a couple of days. However I still notice Tiara (sister and black piggy) running away and punching him whenever he tries to get too close to mount so I don't suppose she accepted him yet, they eat next to each other and she doesn't get aggressive with him and no teeth chattering, just a nose punch if he touches her so I suppose it'll take time.
(Here's a long one so left it for last, a good 30 min video)

As for how the hierarchy looks, so far Leo looks like he's in the very bottom. 😂

But I think he enjoys it over there, he popcorns after he gets punched by the girls after all.

How are they doing now?
So far so good, they're on good terms and respect their space, zoomie, eat, play and sleep together. Leo gets occasional punches when he chases them too much but they still enjoy each other's company, so normal piggy interaction now.

It's thankfully a successful bonding 😊

Here's just a few videos and pics to share of the newly bonded herd, it's been 2 weeks now since the initial bonding.

They seem all chill to me, and I believe he was being persistent in mounting Koochi in one of the videos becuz she was in heat, cuz I saw her trying to mount him back the same day and doing her usual things and glad to see all that energy going to Leo instead of her bullying the other females.
