We are looking after a guinea pig called Alfie for one of my husbands work colleagues for the next week. We have just picked him up and he is adorable. He used to be part of a pair but his brother died a few weeks ago and his owner has decided not to have anymore guinea pigs.
I am feeling a little sad as he has come in an 80cm cage (which he shared with his brother) and all he has is a little plastic house and a set of fiddlestix. He's a big boy too!
He is staying in my piggy room and his little ears prick up and he wheeks every time he hears my own piggies moving around and wheeking.
Anyway, here is the little (or should I say big) fellow. He looks like a bigger version of my Ellen. As I have just copied the pic from my Facebook page, you need to click on the icon to see the photo of him.
