Meet April!

She is so petite, and quite a lady. It's so interesting to watch the difference between genders here. While Herbie and Alan are busy trashing their run, tossing the food bowl and bouncing around like popcorn, April has been politely dragging hay into her little hidey-hut and decorating her new home rather tastefully LOL!

I'm actually wondering if her behavior has anything to do with the fact that she has had babies? I just learned from my friend who lives with her former owner that she has had a litter in the past, and that was why the guy started getting so overwhelmed with all the changes in his own life and now a bunch of baby piggies to care for. Is she just used to "nesting" now?

Awwwwwww :love::love::love::love::love: What a little stunner!

Happy Valentine's day! (No worries...closely supervised, and the rise was stripped of thorns.)

Named for April O'Neill, the legendary reporter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! (I mean...of course...why WOULDN'T one name a guinea pig THAT...lol)

Pic of my second newest sow soon to come! I just got her, and this week I an going to begin trying to bond her with April once she settles in on her own at home. Any and all tips and tricks are greatly appreciated. I've already done a fair amount of bonding research, here and elsewhere, that I'd love to build on from others experience!
