Badger was being sold in a pet shop, he was extremly small, very thin and had obvious skin problems. We talked to the owner of the shop about him, he claimed he was 8 weeks old. He was NOT! He was barely 8 days old let alone 8 weeks. I took him home. We bathed him and treated him with fungal and parasite shampoo for a week, we saw some improvement in his skin and his hair started to grow back. The biggest improvement was seen a day after he had been here. He had a lovely round tummy! He is prone to infections and colds, he is the happiest piggy we have and constantly popcorns. He is a perminant resident because of his constant infections and is now a sponser piggy.

The following pictures are from the day we got him.

The food that helped get him bigger! Complan and brown bread, is great nutrition for sick pigs and a nice treat for older piggys.

Please note this is not milk! Do not give your piggys milk

i can't find any pics of when he was a baby, but baxter could be badger's twinnie!
the one where you're bathing him in the tub, i had to stop and do a double take thinking it was my boy lol

It looks like Badger may have some long lost brothers :))

He's adorable. Poor thing, what a bad start...But I'm glad to see that he's looking happier and healthier now.
The difference is really amazing.

He's so lucky that you found him and took him home.

LOL @ that picture of him stood on the shower hose, it is as if he is saying "no more!" :(|)

I love the before and afters, you must be so proud. :)

Lol thank you, i am pretty proud :) Those pigtures are lovely! He sends some wheeks. (btw I'm just too lazy to take the shower hose out the bath when they are in there with shampoo soaking in. They are bathed in the sink, not the shower lol)
