So I’m feeling incredibly guilty, as it’s so soon after I lost my beautiful Odin; but we got a call about this guy in need of rehoming.
He’s a 7 month old boar, and he was being kept alone in a shed.
it also turns out that Mr.Stark (the trickiest boar I’ve owned with the biggest piggie attitude known to man), gets along much better with Thor than he did Banner. It’s really perked Thor up after he lost both Loki and Odin this year. Plus there’s less disagreements for Banner now, but I can tell he’s feeling a little lonely (despite the contact with his neighbours). And there’s no way I’m putting him in with them 2 as we all know more than 2 boars never works.
So.. meet Bruce. He’s currently in quarantine in my spare room for a few weeks before he’s introduced to the piggie room. Then I’ll start the tricky process of boar bonding with my lovely, laid back Banner. All being well, Bruce & Banner (The Marvel name theme continues) will go nicely together and everyone will have buddies again.
obviously, I have the space and plans in place for if it doesn’t.
No one can ever replace my beautiful Odin; but I’m sure he would want me to help out a pig in need. And I’ll always continue to help animals in need. One day I’ll have enough land to rescue even more, and I’ll become the ultimate crazy animal lady that everyone thinks I am!
