Meet Chelsea...

About 5 days ago, we welcomed a new furry friend into the house. We brought my existing guinea pig, Ruby, to the rescue to choose her new buddy. We ended up adopting a lemon agouti named Chelsea. As of now it looks like Ruby is the boss piggy, as she chases Chelsea around and guards the food bowl, but we'll see how it plays out. Ruby is a bit more of a bully then I would like her to be, but I'm hoping once they settle down, things will go a bit smoother.

Chelsea is the one with the beige patches. (They look like they could be sisters!)

Welcome Chelsea, they look great together I am sure they will soon settle down together, they are just establishing a hierarchy. Here is a thread on sow behaviour Sow behaviour expect a few occurrences of dominance at season time too. It soon settles
