Amongst all the late health upsets, I have managed to sneak in my long planned and booked trip to Suzy in Glynneath. Sadly, none of the potential Midlands homes has come off, so there were no other piggies to bring back with me.

Sadly I had just over an hour's time to meet ALL of Suzy's residents (including a little cuddle with Baldric) before I had to start my return journey early, no thanks to a freak lightning strike frying some signal boxes between Neath and Cardiff. It was great to meet all those faces from Suzy's pictures in pigson - they were even more gorgeous! drool How I managed to get out of there and on the train - without any more piggies - I don't know, but it must have somehow happened...

However, little 11 week old Hedydd has survived her epic journey remarkably well and was tentatively out and about, meeting Tegan and greeting the rest of the Tribe within minutes of arriving.

Hedydd is a Welsh name that means sky lark and is pronounced Hed-ith. It was Suzy's favourite name from my short list. Hedydd is one of the sisters of the "Ginger Army". Had her older sister sadly not still been on pregnancy watch, I'd snaffled her too!

Here she is herself now:
Meeting Tegan with whom she's been together in a pen since yesterday evening to give her time to get her bearings and recover from her journey.

Here are some video clips from yesterday evening. Please click on the picture to start them:
Hedydd has just arrived and is meeting her new family

This one is a bit later on when Hedydd and a rather unamused Tegan had moved on to the dominance phase of bonding

Currently, Hedydd is moving in with the Tribe after watching her pen being raided in typical Tribe style as soon as I opened the connection. There are no problems at all, except all the pellets are gone and the Hedydd's haycake has been liberated, too! mallethead

Terfel and Caron are back home again as well and have settled in with their friends with delight!

Awwwwwwww I love her name, Hedydd, its very pretty x) Hope she continues to settle in well, looking forward to more pigtures of the wee sweetheart x)

LOL - being of strong Welsh stock I'm sure she'll handle the scrum of integrating into the Tribe with ease.

Looking forward to seeing her as part of the new line up when she learns her place.

Suzy x

Awww, how gorgeous is she? She is such a lucky girl to have found a new home with you. :)

She is gorgeous and she will have a fab forever home with you and the tribe..

x) What a pretty girl, so glad she has found the most amazing home with you and your piggies. How do you pronounce her name?

She's wonderful and looks very content already! Love the spectators on the sidelines too when they're bonding! So cute.

It's good to see an example of bonding - I've done it before but am always nervous and will be going through that next week with Betty so its good to remind myself what's normal!

Louise xx

Aw she is beautiful! I have a real soft spot for ginger and white piggies. Tegan has grown soo much! x)

The bonding has gone without the slightest hitch. Hedydd has now to learn the daily routine and how to stand her ground and get her fair share, but I am sure that she soon will.

She has gorgeous eyes indeed!

Lovely videos, your new little one is beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to take the videos and introduce her, I do hope your life becomes a bit less stressful soon.

Phew, what a relief that she was accepted with ease by the rest of the tribe. I bet there's going to be a lot of action now in tornado alley.

She is gorgeous! x)x)
I did wonder if you would scoop one up after your excitement on the influx of ginger piggies! :))

It's so lovely to see all the piggies coming over to say hello to their new friend! Hywel certainly seems very interested and looks like a giant pig compared to her! :))

Tegan is so beautiful and has grown so much! Really looking forward to seeing Hedydd in the new line up pics!

The tribe expansion continues, they all look super excited to meet the new arrival, she is just lovely! xoxo
