Hi All,

Well I went to meet Helen this morning up in Cumbria for more fosters and she says to me she has a lone sow and nobody to pair her with so I took her to live with Lyra and Leia, they were originally a Trio but when we lost Elora obviously that was reduced and I think they would like the company of a younger pig as to be honest Leia gets on Lyra's nerves! Also how could I resist!

These photos were taken by Helen but I will post more up in the next hour! We called her Kitiara after one of the females in The DragonLance Chronicles but she will be called Kitty for short. :)

Thanks guys, she is adorable. Leia started licking her and I think she will be a welcome addition to the two sisters who are ok together just a little narky at times! Typical girls! Haha!

Oh my goodness, she's so pretty! She looks very content too, I'm sure she'll be one happy piggy =]

Haha Claire, she seems to be pally with Leia at the mo which I am pleased about as Leia is a little imp! Always rumbling, hates cuddles so maybe Kitty will calm her down! Lyra is ok she just doesn't seem to care! Hopefully they will all be friends! :)
 
Aww Graham, it only came about when Helen said she had her and I offered to take her and she could live with my 2 until a new home came up but in all honesty that wouldn't be fair on her to be moved around so much. She's really lovely. Compliments my other two who are teddys in black and ginger!

Will post piccies as soon as I clean them out again! :))
 
Crikey Lou did you hire a trailer, how many did you bring back, theyre all over the forum! And every one gorgeous. Lucky you. x
 
Haha Jane, 5 in total. The 3 boars, Frasier and Kitty. Had no idea I was getting Kitty until this morning! Any snow your end dear? x
 
Thanks for your comments guys. Went into the utility room last night and Leia had escaped! Little minx! (They are in a C&C) so Peter found her and put her back in and she wasn't happy! She went for Lyra! So I gave her another igloo and some more food and hoped that would settle them!

Kitty seemed terrified but settled with Lyra. Hopefully Leia will calm down! I think it was more of her wanting to get out and explore rather than being upset with Kitty being there. I'll see how they go today! They seem ok at the moment! :)

Kitty is fine, settled right in. Leia has gotten over her moaning now. Will take some snaps tomorrow when I clean them out. :)
 
Well after much watching of the three girls Leia has become snappy not with Kitty but with her own sister Lyra! Leia at some point nipped Kitty's ear too, she's ok, I've put some galen's garden cream on. Kitty has become weary of moving around the C&C so we have now put Kitty with Flora, Fleur, Amber and Pearl and its working well. Hated to move her but Leia to put it nicely is a right madam.

If she continues to bully Lyra like this she will go and live with the other sows. i think what has happened here is Elora was always boss pig and when she died Leia was allowed to boss Lyra but its too much. Kitty just pushed Leia over the edge.

Pearl seems to have paired up with Kitty which I am pleased about as she is always pushed out of the group, so hopefully my gorgeous himi now has a pal! :) Fingers crossed!
