Meet Maisie

Some of you may remember Rodney and Rufus, the rex baby boars who I looked after for some time. Well, I took their mother back to work once they were 3 weeks old, and all was fine. Until Friday, when I noticed that Maisie looked pregnant again. Turns out that a girl who was training put a boar in with her by accident mallethead Common sense says that you put the pigs back where you got them from, not in any random pen!
Anyway, this poor girl is pregnant again, and so I have taken her home to care for her during her pregnancy She is getting quite large now, and doesn't move around much. I just want her to have them so that she is comfortable again. The babies are very active, and I think I even heard them grinding their teeth yesterday!
Her babies will be up for rehoming when they are born.

She is a beautiful girl She's a different colour to my silver rex, more of a creamy grey.
Pelvic bones feel about my little finger width apart today, but the longest term she can be is 7 weeks as it was that long ago that I took her back to work.
She's found a spot in the hutch that she always sits in now and she doesn't move much, but she's eating happily and is always quite happy to see me!

aaaaaaawwwwww shes gorgeous i so help that the birth goes well when my sisters pig got pregnant we were reary worried but now weve got bobby spyro and peanut so hope its the same ending for maisie
