Nerys and Nesta are my two ASBO teddies who won't fit in with anypig else, but they seem to feel like family even though they are not related.!

Six tear old Nerys ("lady") is one my Tribe founder piggies and is now an elderly and rather arthritic 6 year old lady. She's never spend one calorie she could hang onto in her life and has always done her own thing. A typical grumpy teddy - but you have to love them!


Nesta ("Agnes/chaste") is a holy terror with any piggy she can dominate; but she sees Nerys as a kind of auntie and is behaving with her even though the Tribe categorically won't have her back! She is three years old and arrived in rescue with Hafren as an unwanted children's pet whose dad had lost patience. I adopted her and Hafren sight unseen!

Seems like so much fun! Makes me wanna expand my cage but I can only do it upwards due to limited space.
Cleaning must be tough on you yea? Mine is so small and I need an hour every 3 days [emoji52]

Cleaning takes me two or three days, just to keep the smelly laundry mountains in the kitchen to a minimum and to wash/dry it all. It is less the actual cage clean, as that can be done pretty speedily and doesn't take much more time than a smaller cage. I work from home, so I can fit my piggies in during the day and do the clean pen by pen as I have time.
