This is my foster group for The Excellent Adventure Sanctuary although not all members are permanent fosters. Bedo and Angharad have both been rehomed from the Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue. The Teases have been busy carving a swathe of destruction in the living room during roaming time, especially after the arrival of the triplets! Essylt is the oldest at 3 years old; Angharad the youngest at 3 months.

Bedo (pronounced Beddo = "splendid litte lord") was found dumped in a cardboard box on Cannock Chase a year ago, but he has certainly made his presence felt since his arrival here as soon as he was given the go ahead by the rescue vet after a post neutering abscess! I had rehomed him to live with my newly split off Tribe undersows, but Bedo promptly fell in love with managing Essylt, who failed to bond with the Tribe sows. In the end, I allowed Bedo choose who he rather wanted to live with. Talk about happy ever afters!
Bedo is lovely natured boar and has also proved to be an excellent nursery nurse!

Essylt (pronounced Esselt = beautiful; Sanctuary name Jessica) is a quite a dominant lady, who knows what she wants - and that includes the lookalike boar of her dreams! She and her daughter Crisiant ended up as sanctuary residents while their mummy, a TEAS trustee and also a friend of mine, was fighting a losing battle with cancer. Essylt is quite happily running her own group these days. Essylt is another 3 year old girl. I really hope that their mummy is having fun watching Essylt's and Crisiant's adventures from up there!

Crisiant (pronounced Cree-see-ant = "Krystal"). She is a fairly laid back girl although she has her moments! But she is absolutely lethal when it comes to finding anything she should not eat or nibble at, and she has a knack of always finding it before me - that includes any kind of plastic, wallpaper, greeting cards, carpets, furniture... Unfortunately, she is also an able teacher to the next generation of nibblers!

Myfina (prounced a bit like MerVEEna = "my little lovely one") is the largest and most timid of the sanctuary born triplet sisters. She's Crisiant's sidekick.

Mererid (pronounced Meh-reh-rid = "Margaret/pearl") is Bedo's sidekick, but Crisiant's best pupil when it comes to naughtiness!

Morwenna (MorWENna = "white seas") is the smallest and cheekiest of the triplets. She's also my little Pocket Rocket specialising in madcap zoomie runs all across the living room and liked to visit me in the kitchen before I had to block off the piggy roaming area for (cable) safety reasons.

Little Angharad (pronounced AnCARrad = "much loved") is the latest addition. She is a quiet little orphan that has settled well into her new boisterous family but is still finding her feet.

I have loved these threads this evening

Wiebke, all you piggies are beautiful and reading about them is so interesting, but I have just fallen for Bedo's charms. I love his ruff of ginger hair and is cute quiff . I may have to take up pignapping as an occupation. You have been warned!

Bedo is an absolute stunner with a wonderful personality, so you may have to get in line... Please be warned that tthis house is wheeker-alarmed! :D

I've just been looking through all of these! I've really enjoyed it!

You have such a beautiful group of piggies! Every single one of them!

It's been lovely hearing all about each individual piggie! :D

Bedo & Essylt, such a love match! Can't get over how much alike they look even in their expressions.

After looking at all your 5 groups of gorgeous, gorgeous piggies I am even more determined to someday have a tribe of my own.

"O.M.G. That poor piggy!" was my first thought on seeing the photograph of Mererid until I realised it was a piece of red pepper not a tongue!

You do a wonderful job Wiebke and all your piggies look so happy and well cared for.
