Still debating names but Misty has stuck for my little silver lady. Treacle or Truffles for her sister (but they seem more like boys names). Help with a name for her please. She's already finding her feet and exploring a lot more than her sister.

I didn't ask what breed they are but I'll find out though. Her eyes are much bigger than Toffee's. X. Will put more photos on tomorrow. 😁

Hi Hun. I asked the chap who sold them to me what types/breeds they are and he just replied that the parents are pure bred show pigs.

What beautiful girls.
The black and gold colouring reminds me of one of my childhood piggies - an Abyssinian called Scamper

Looking forward to seeing more of your girls

Thank you. They're so cute and so addictive. Lol. I'm 52 years old but still can't resist piggies. Lol. Xx

They are just beautiful! Wow-congratulations on these babies. Naming is always tough. Sooooo cute-both of them! Keep the pics and final names coming :wel:

It's not about age - it's about the fact that guinea pigs are cute and adorable animals with lots of character.
They're wasted on children.
I too am in my 50s and love my piggies

Realised it sounds unkind to say guinea pigs are wasted on children. I was thinking that when I had piggies as a child that while I loved them I really didn’t appreciate the social interaction and depth of relationship you can have with a guinea pig as an adult.
I have a much better relationship with my current piggies than I did with those I had as a child

Everything you said made perfect sense to me Hun. I haven't had these ladies for long but little Toffee is so much nosier than Misty. Both are very placid but once they've had enough of cuddles, they let me know by the little trills they make. The sounds from them always make me smile and I just love to listen to them chatting to each other. 😁
