hi everyone:)
It's been a long time! Unfortunately we lost one of our piggies 2 weeks ago suddenly:( meet our new piggie baby, name to be decided... She's a definite beaut:)
Star has been so sad since Sofia passed away and today has been the 1st time I have heard any sort of noise from her when we put our new addition in her cage next to her:)
Anyway here's our new baby- maybe you could give me an idea of the breed and any names to go with star:)
I like Lilly and Maisie, but researching others:)

My only concern is that she seems genuinely terrified. She has hardly moved and I've never known any of my new piggies to not move through sheer fright....
Is this normal?

She looks quite young so will just need a bit of time to get used to the new surroundings. Best idea is give her somewhere in which she can hide - a cosy, tunnel or a cardboard box with a hole in it. Just place food near the entrance so that she can start to feel comfortable and once she does there will be no stopping her. Another idea is to put a towel over part of her cage so that she feels secure. Try not to tower over her but rather come down to her level as she will see you as less of a threat that way.

Aw what a cutie, Hopefully she'll come out of her shell. I agree with having places for her to hide x

Stunner! Congratulations on her!

So sorry for the loss of Sofia.

Hope the bonding oges well, don't forget to keep us updated!

She's beautiful, good luck with the bonding. Like others have said, give her somewhere to hide, even a towel over the cage would help her feel more secure.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry you lost Sofia. Many hugs to you x

Your new girl is a beauty, hope the bonding goes well!
