Hello everyone,
On Sunday my dad took me to the pet shop to get our new piggy. Me and my mum had seen them on the Tuesday and both decided that their personalities where very similar to Oscars and we agreed to consider getting one. It was a shame as we where on the waiting listing for one from the rspca, but they changed the few weeks to a few months and by that time there was a huge risk Oscar and the other wouldn't bond.
There was two I had fallen in love with, but one of them was more special than the other, so when I seen he was still there the choice was made. Though I still had a hug with the other because who doesn't want to hug adorable piggys?
So Rubix is eight weeks old, with black nose, ears, feet and eyes. His fur is quite long at the back and he is extremely soft. And the best thing is he loves cuddles, he falls asleep and squeaks if you stroke his favourite spot.
I have a few questions though. He has ate all the food I've put in front of him, and doesn't leave any at all. I'm glad he isn't fussy but I'm worried he might go hungry, any advice?
Bonding is going ok with Oscar. Rubix has let Oscar no that Oscar is the boss and Oscar is given mixed reactions. At the moment they are living side by side in two cages that join together and Rubix loves to bite the bars to get oscars attention. Any tips on stopping this ?
Thanks
