This is the little lady i took in a few days ago found wandering outside some shops:( after being at the vets they can find nothing wrong with her apart from being very underweight, i dont know her age but I'm guessing not a baby as her front nails look to have been trimmed, she only weighs in at 388 grams and is like a skeleton underneath that gorgeous coat, today is the first day that she has drank water from a bottle and although she has plenty of different food choices available she eats like a mouse:( she had very bad dihorhea but that has stopped now, i hope this little lady can find the strength to make a full recovery

Poor little thing!

388g is so tiny! :o Pixel weighed more than this when we first got her at 8 weeks or so :( I hope she starts to eat well and gains her strength, bless her xx

ah bless her, poor little thing. She's lovely though and I hope she makes a full recovery also - good luck little princess xoxo xxxxxxxxxxxx

Poor wee piggie, Sending her positive, healing vibes. I hope she makes a quick recovery and gets a lovely forever home xx

Aww she is a gorgeous wee mite I hope she gains weight and thrives for you hun.

skunk is beautiful sending a big hug but in alight way as dont want to hurt her
i think she'll have the will power to get better x>>

OMG - that is a dangerously low weight!

Are you giving her CC and other extra weight boosting food to get her up to speed? She's probably never had veg before in her life, so you need to be careful with that.

I hope that this lovely girl can pull through!

Oh bless her.

I love the photos, all the food around her tempting her to eat :)

Hope she pulls through. x

Hi Skunk!

I'm sure she's happy with you and the love she is receiving. I hope she was never mistreated in the past or it may take some time for her to develop trust in humans.

Job well done!

OMG poor poor thing! My baby boy (4 months) weighs almost twice that weight.

Order some flaked peas from pamperred piggies (I think) see if she will take mini corns and definitely syringe feed her critical care a few times a day.

Experts - could she give her metatone to boost her and stimulate her appetitie? (you can buy it at the chemist)

I though my Elvis was thin at 800g, but I am amazed she has survived at all.
Why would anyone do that to an animal is beyond me, well done you I hope she makes it.

Eeeek she is gorgeous , is she a Peru? Looks just like my Ginny pig. I do hope she can put on some weight now she is in good hands, what a beauty

aww,i hope she's all better soon. i wish we knew what piggies were thinking then we could help them by giving them exactly what they want to eat and what they need. i hope she's ok and thrives in your magic hands Donna. She's beautiful xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wow that is so skinny, good weight for an 8 weeks old but not for an adult piggle. Poor little thing, give her a kiss from me xx

What a stunning pig. As if you leave a pig to wander the streets, I really do not understand some people, a dog could have got her. :0

Fingers crossed she makes a full recovery. :)

Skunk is doing really well she's gaining weight daily :<> she is such a lovely girl and is obviously used to being handled, i gave her a bath a few days ago and she was fine :) I'm hoping to try and pair her up with someone soon :)

agreed that she is a stunning piggie. whoever she gets paired with will be one lucky lad(y) ! just wondering, how much does she weigh now?

Glad she is on the road to recovery! I give metatone to furby when she lost weight to try and increase her appetite and she loves metatone! Also trying the flaked peas but she will only eat about 5 then gets bored with them.

Do you think she could be paired up with Daisie? I really think she'd thrive in a group, but obviously I would take her out on her own and make sure she was being given some food one to one, as I do with all my piggies. Ruby and Maggie-May have a tendency to steal food otherwise! LOL! I think she'd Blossom. xxxxxx

skunk now has a little belly:)) she has been with me now for nearly 2 wks, and up to last night had put on 100 grams :)
The very best thing is that she now wheeks at me when I'm doing their veg:(|) she is in my dining room so i can keep a close eye on her, i have other piggies in their so she can hear them, she is such a different piggy to the one that first arrived :<>

bless her, i'm so pleased she's come out of her shell! i hope she continues to thrive xxxxxxxxxx

I love a good outcome like this, must be so rewarding.

She is a stunner, she would look even better in my cage! :o;):(|)

no,she'd look better in my garden! with my piggies! and yeah, you can't argue! When i say in the garden, i mean for run time, not just living there!
