Meet Squishy! (Pics!)

This is my little Peruvian mix guinea pig I named Squishy. I got him fully weaned at 3 weeks old from someone that had an accidental breeding and the mom only had him and the woman didn't want to keep him so I took him. He's 3 1/2 months old now.

This is him the day I brought him home, only 3 weeks old, so tiny! He weighed 251 grams.

This is him his first time in his cage that same day. He was quite nervous!

This is when he first learned two days after I brought him home that he liked carrots, now they're his absolute favorite! He gets one small baby carrot a day chopped up.

This was Easter Sunday. He had an Easter carrot hunt instead of an Easter egg hunt. (ok so maybe I was losing my mind just a little bit that day but it made him work for his carrot!)

This is Squishy now. He's a big boy. 3 1/2 months old and 800 grams. So sweet tho! He loves to be petted and rubs to the front of the cage for attention when you go by. He let's you pick him up no problem and is a great piggy!

What a little cutie!

Have you considered getting him a little boarfriend for company? Guinea pigs are herd animals and are not wired to be on their own, especially the yong ones. You will enjoy the shenanigans and the lively interaction two youngsters can get up to!

How tiny he was! Wish I had taken more pictures from ours when they were little, those pics are priceless. loving your food arrangements:))
