Meet Stanley

Just 24 hours after arrival Stanley is taking food from my hand. Ronnie is doing a fabulous job of supporting him and building confidence. Not the best of photos as I don’t want to handle him just yet. I’m over the moon

I honestly can’t believe how quickly and successfully they’ve bonded. Ronnie is such a kind gentle boy and never left Scottie’s side and he is doing the same for Stanley. It really is amazing. Scottie was very gentle and loving too and his legacy of kindness continues with Ronnie. It’s a wonderful thing. I still cry for losing Scottie so soon but his lovely nature continues with Ronnie and now Stanley .

Your Ronnie sounds like my Percy. So kind and gentle. When his young mate Pippin passed away at the end of last year we got him a new baby buddy called Pepper. Percy loved him straight away and really looked out for him and was very tolerant. . Ronnie and Stanley look lovely together.

As Stanley seems settled and is eating from my hand and up at the bars for food do you think he’ll be ok to put in a run tomorrow? It’ll be day his fourth day here. I’m trying to balance Stanley settling with Ronnies need for exercise. Ronnies used to being out 6 days a week
