Yesterday I and three of the ginger Tribe sows went on a train journey to Kidsgrove/Stoke-on-Trent to The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue in order to date a new Mr. Tribe after he'd been finally given the all clear by the vet after his post neutering wait.

Thankfully, as hoped, gorgeous and very sweet natured Foxy ticked the right boxes even with my Mrs Extremely Picky Tanni and promptly travelled back home with us. Foxy's new Welsh name is Bedo (pronounced Bed-do); it translates as "little splendid lord", an old endearment/short name to Meredith - which I think is certainly suitable!
Bedo is one of the boys that were found dumped in a box on Cannock Chase last autumn. With the good care from the rescue, he has thankfully recovered from his ordeal.
PS: His companion Blaze, a very strikingly marked black and cream aby, will be looking for his lady/ladies from next week.
