As promised, here are pics of Perry & Austin settled in (formerly Peri & Winkle)

They are some of the Himi pigs from the Piggy Bank Rescue & I saw them posted on the rehoming thread on here and well, here they are, they arrived about 10 days ago & are settling in nicely:).

They thought I was going to eat them with the camera so I only got a couple of quick pics of them in the pen last night while their cage was being cleaned out.

They are very cute boys & Austin has learned to meercat when he knows we're on the way with food :(|)

My husband named them 'The Snow Pigs' as he was most amused by the idea of Himalayan guinea pigs roaming around the snowy mountains. I explained this isn't the case but the name stuck :)

They are still a bit wary of us but getting braver. They aren't particularly easy to catch but are ok to sit on my lap for a bit & get weighed etc once I've caught them. I haven't given them free roam of the hall yet as I think it might be a challenge to catch them again & I don't want to scare them. We will go on with baby steps & hopefully they can have some good racing around time in the hall soon :)

Perry is on the left and Austin on the right in both pics. Austin has the darker nose & ears.

Congratulations they are gorgeous x) drool x)

Love the term 'Snow Pigs' Looking forward to seeing more of them

I still can't understand how The Littlest Rescue had nobody at all enquire about them from October right through until I got them! They are such sweetie pigs & full of character :). Sharon said pink-eyes whites are not very popular for adoption. Lucky for me I guess, they're popular here x)

Absolutely gorgeous <3 i kept looking at these guys wishing space to appear at mine. So handsome, PEW's, Himis or anything Pinky is very popular here too! So glad these lovely boys have an great new home :)

Beautiful :) they look so happy and healthy :) x)

Thanks everyone :) we do love our new snow pigs x)

A few days ago when we had some actual sunshine (!) Perry & Austin snowpigs got to go outside in the run for the very first time ever in their lives :). They were a bit unsure at first but settled into it like pros. Here they are:
