thanks for all the pigtures............i wonder if i'd turned up with a big black jacket on, would any be missed? ...........:(|) yeah i'm sure they would be! x)

What a lot of space, I'm sure that many Piggies thrive in it. I think the flooring (cardboard bits) is great recycling and ideal for forraging in.

To all who visited yesterday,Teddy would like it to be known that he has had a shampoo and blow dry and now thinks he would(in view of his recent bahaviour) like to change his name to Romeo. However the piggie slave is not convinced so maybe hewill have to exhibit a bit more amorous behaviour to get my own way. Watch this space!

ha ha ha is it possible for him to exhibit MORE amorous behaviour?

If i was a sexy sow i would be giving in to him, hes just gorgeous x)

Woweeeeee! Just fabulous! I have really enjoyed looking through this thread! :))

The piggy room is amazing, and the piggies are wonderful! I am jealous you got to visit, i'd love to be sat in the middle of that pen! :)) Can't believe there are 9 boars in there all getting along! x)

Christine how many did you start off with?! :))

Hi,itis a long story but I started off with 10 sowsand no intention of breeding. However whilst holiday boarding my grandsons boars they escaped from their pen one night and got in with the girls, and that is where it all started. I do not breed all my boars are neutered.
By the way if you are having a boar neutered I have found it is better for the vet to use glue rather than stitches, seems to be less chance of abcesses.

Yes the cardboard does make great recycling but the men at the tip insist that it goes in yellow bags marked "pet waste",and into the nonrecyclable skip! Dont know what they do with all the cardboard that goes in my three large green wheelie bins, they dont object to taking that away, but when they are full its off to the tip and into the nonrecyclable, Seems very silly to me.

Have been looking again at all the pics. Thanks girls for posting . I did notice that a lot of the piggies have their eyes half closed, but it was very bright in the sun. Has anyone else noticed that red eyed piggies especially dont like the bright light?
By the way thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments,I do worry that I am doing my best for the piggies.
