I thought I would try out megazorb for a trail to see what it's like.
I think it's the megazorb but my chest gets very tight and I can't breath very well, heart rate goes up a bit. I am wearing a mask but it seems very dusty.
I have had this cleaning out the GPs before but I changed hay and I have been better. We normally use fleece
Has anyone had this affect with megazorb ? Thanks

Hello I’m sorry to hear about your symptoms
I did some research about megazorb ( admittedly a few years ago) as I was trying to decide what to use for my piggies.
It causes a high level of dust for people and piggies. Generally bad reviews because of that.
I would stop it immediately as it’s making you poorly
Btw I opted for fleece / pee pads and washable puppy pads

Same as @Roselina ,I looked into Megazorb once and found reviews saying it was very dusty, I've never risked buying it to give it a go.

I would highly recommend Aubiose, which is a hemp bedding. I have not found that to be dusty and for as long as you make it deep enough the urine soaks down, leaving the upper layer dry.

I tried Megazorb once and found it very dusty. I also couldn't stand the smell, the piggies are in my living room, the Megazorb has to go! With 4 big cages now we use fleece with shavings in the hay boxes.

I'm using megazorb in my cages,I'm not having any problems with it.
I did order mine from paws 4 pets.i found this did not smell,or to be dusty.
I used to get it from horse feed place but that was dusty and smelly.
I think it maybe due to how it's stored.
Maybe put a layer of hay over it ,maybe take an antihistamine.
If your piggies are reacting to it ,maybe try other bedding.Aubiose as others have said,is a good absorbent bedding.Good luck finding something suitable.
