Just tried all of my 5 guinea pigs with melon and they love it!
All their chins are wet now hehe :))
 
My girls love melon, I usually by the small selection pack from tescos. It's the only food they will actually pick up and run away with so nobody else can have some. :))
 
Ha ha ha! That's awesome.

I have just put a strawberry in with my guy. He turned his nose up and looked the other way. sigh. Maybe I should try a melon soon.

Yeah one of mine runs away with it but the other one will just sut happily and eat it! :)

Mine aint fussed on strawberry, but you should deffo try them on melon soon I'm sure they will love it! :)
 
havent tried mine with melon but she loves apple i bet she would eat a whole one if i let her! lol havent tried strawberries yet...i think I'm poking so much new foods at her she'll wounder what the hells going on!
 
My pigs also love melon, they eat the little chunks from tesco. They're rather fond of the dark red melon :))
 
Nom nom nom, love it when piggies first try foods and they love them x)
 
My six all love melon. I buy the honeydew, watermelon and tried them with canteloupe last week nom nom :(|)
Not fussed on other fruits apart from apple.
Tried them with some fresh thyme, sage and tarragon this week - they sniffed it and backed off rolleyes
 
melon is brill...!
i'll never forget my friend gave her roaming heard half a melon... in one large piece...
and her piggies never ate the skin on it and one got stuck under it and was running round the garden with the shell of half a melon on it... ahhahahahha...:)))
if i can dig out the pic and scan it in i will... its EPIC....!
although.... my lot all eat the skin before the actual melon.... :))

So its okay for them to eat the skin!?
I was to sure so I never gave it to them
 
i eat the melon and give my pigs the skin... with a bit of melon left on :)
melon is my fave!
my pigs love the odd grape, blackberry, strawberry and cherry.
