It seems that in the blink of an eye Redemption will completely reject a food that only the previous day he couldn't get enough of. The watermelon rind now goes untouched, and he didn't eat his parsley at all last night, whereas previously in the week he couldn't get enough of either. Is this normal, do they change their appetites that quickly?
I am sure there is nothing wrong with the food as it (except for the watermelon) is purchased new every 4 days or more frequently. He eats tons of grass every day, but yesterday (Saturday) I had to throw out the grass I had put in there on Friday that he didn't eat. Last night I put in more of the same grass (same type taken from the same spot) that I had put in Friday, and he ate every bit of it in minutes but left the parsley that I had mixed in.
When he does that, changes his preferences, I check him carefully every couple of hours to make sure he is not acting ill, and I throw out the food in case it is bad and I can't tell.
