he has fatty eye in one eye as you can tell from the pics, but he is so cute!

Lovely photos.
I also have coronets/shelties/peruvian breeds ... they take more looking after, but well worth it by their personalities.
My Shaun is a teddy type.

yeah merlins hair is pretty low maintainance at the min as i chop it really short in summer, as he gets so hot and fed up but it takes a lot of brushing when long.

those pics are just before i cut his hair on sat :))

when its not so warm it let it grow really long, i love it full length but not ideal for summer rolleyes

teddies and rex's are my favourite breeds, i lost my rex piggy a few months ago now :( but i really wanted another teddy or rex and already had davey reserved at the time so here he is! :<>

They are such lovely piggies.....I absolutely LOOOOOVE Davey!! x) x)

love davey he is gorge! and of course the lovely merlin!

Lez - your piggies are gorgeous! Sorry to hijack your thread, but you mention fatty eye, and from looking at the photo, its what my little squeak has. Can you tell me about it? Thanks

this is first time ive had a piggy with fatty eye. it doesnt seem to bother him at all, once a pig has it they usually have it permanantly i think? ive seen other piggies who have it, i think its pretty common, doesnt cause them problems

it just makes the bottom of his eye look a bit droopy

Yes, thats definitely what my little squeak has. Is it something ive done to make him get it? Plus, can they still see out of it? Sorry again to hijack your thread. I feel really guilty that i didnt know what it was.

nope it doesnt get caused by anything, some pigs just get it and others dont.

he can still see perfectly fine it doesnt bother him at all
