merlins had an extreme hair cut!

well its been really warm here lately, and merlin seemed really hot and fed up today and slept all day, so i decided it was time to chop his hair for the summer!

after over an hour of chopping, fighting, many many bites and lightshifter holding him while i chopped he now has very short hair!

hes not impressed. also his fringe is very wonky, because every time i went to cut it he bit me. so it has to stay like that ::)

here he is posing afterwards! you can see his face!

heres a before photo to compare. i loved it long, and he did too, but he was looking very hot and fed up so it had to go!

Bless him we had the fans on in the sheds all afternoon is getting a bit warm for longhaireds! :smitten:
 
yeah with merlin living inside i was worried he was getting too hot he really did look fed up today :(
 
i am dreading having to cut milly's hair, I've done a bit already but she throws a tantrum if I do it for too long ::)
 
love pictures 3 and 5 looks like merlin is sulking. when the bunny needs a trim we use electric trimmer, lot quicker and easier, use to use it on rosie the guinea pig too. saving using scissors. he looks a real sweetheart. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: perhaps invest in the electric trimmer rosie had long hair like merlin and it took me 10 minutes to trim it when she was alive. don't worry merlin it will grow back :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: tell your mummy cause of your hair you now need sunnies to protect your eyes. 88) 88) 88)
