What werid thing does your guinea pig do?

My piggies prefer eating the hay they wee and poop on rather than eating the fresh stuff that is always available to them. At veg time (veg is always served on the bottom tier of my double decker hutch) and if Meg is on the top tier she will run around excitedly wheaking for it and not going downstairs even though she knows the veg is down there. The others quite happily scamper down the ramp to get to the veg but I have to tell Meg repeatedly to go downstairs. I have even had to physically put her downstairs to get the veg before now. I can't understand this as she quite happily goes up and down the ramp usually. I think she just gets so excited that she can't think straight! What a silly piggie!

One of mine likes to wheek at the wall and has taught her sister to do it aswell (I'm not really sure she knows what she is wheeking at only that her sister does it), not sure what is so fascinating about it but they get plenty excited.

One of mine is fascinated by shadows on the wall, sits and watches them for hours. If I play shadow puppets for him he gets very excited!

When I take the hay trays out to clean them and replace them with clean hay the piggies rush to the corners of the cage to eat the loose strands of hay that got left behind. And then refuse to move when I try to put the clean trays back in. Daft.

Before Jerry had a cage mate his favourite place to sit was his throne - I had to move his veg plate to beside his throne as he liked to not have to leave the cosy even to eat lol he would simply lean out of it and munch away. Lazy boy haha He also constantly drags his water bottle into his hiddies so I'm setting up another one he can't move!
