Messy bum

Hi everyone

My boys are 7ish now and ive noticed that ozzy is starting to get messy pee fur on his hind legs and his bum. I gave him a bum bath and within a few days it was back to being messy. How often should I clean it up for him? I dont want to overdo it, he really didn't like the bum bath either

Priscilla used to suffer from pee fur because she had long fur.
Despite keeping her trimmed and an occasional bum bath, she always had pee fur.
I used unscented, water based baby wipes to help keep her clean
