I love my boys dearly but wonder is everyone else's boys as messy as mine?

Grrrrr boys! lol

Typical piggies, they love trashing their clean beds and I always find them crashed out, snoozing on the newly trashed hay bed... I think it's their way of saying thankyou:)

Looks just like our pad, I'm sure they take great delight in "re-arranging" things to their liking!:))

Its just not boys you know, my girls do the same thing. It always amazes me at how much mess something that small can make.

Hehehe that scene somewhat reminds me of my hutch, and my boys....typical! :))

You should meet the tribe... rolleyes

It's funny I was just saying to Steven earlier that everyones cages always look impeccably clean whereas ours always looks a mess, no matter how many times a day I do a poop check! I'm pleased we aren't the only ones with messy piggies!

My two girls are very messy and poop for England. They also throw their beds around,I often find one precariously trying to sleep in an upturned bed.

I wouldn't think the carpet like bedding is suitable for the pigs as they like to pull the fluff out and eat it. They pee quite a lot as well. The carpet thing will smell bad in no time.

Yeah looks like vet bed to me as well which wicks away urine and is washable. I've been using this with my own piggies for over 3 years now without any problems. One of my piggies does chew at it at times but it's never caused her any problems, infact I *think* I remember reading somewhere it was made of vegetable fibres which I wouldn't think would cause any problems if it was eaten.

It certainly is vetbed and at the mo I've had no trouble with it

(initially I did think it was smelly but I think that was more paranoia than fact lol)

I have found washing all piggy bits in an old duvet cover stops washer getting blocked

My boys are exactly the same, I do their hutch everyday whilst they are out in the run and the following morning it looks like I've not touched it for a week :( I give up lol x

Thanks for the enlightenment Hehe I heard of vetbed but never seen one so I know how it looks like now.

One of my boars Troy, every single day without fail, when I put his food dish down full of food, he just flips it over lol Food goes everywhere and that is in seconds of putting it in his cage lol He's so funny, don't know why he does it.
