metacam dosage?

Truffle has teeth problems, I shall take him to the vet tomorrow, but I think a dose of metacam would help him
today. I have some in the cupboard but I cant remember the dose, can anyone advise? Truffle is 1.1kg.
 
Have you got dog or cat metacam?

With dog metacam at that weight, it is about 0.1 - 0.15 ml. You can go up to 0.3 - 0.4 ml in extreme pain with 12 hours in between doses.

I've had 2 of my girls on Metacam (for dogs) in last month both about same weight as Truffle. Vet prescribed 2 drops once a day. Easiest way to give it is on lettuce or similar veg and hand feed. If it's Metacam for cats then it's double the dose eg 4 drops a day.

Take him to Simon. Don't let any other vet mess about with his teeth. xx
