Teenage Guinea Pig
Stella is now pushing 7 and living with Marmaduke and Stella since losing her sister. She's very well in her self, friendly, noisily demanding and eating well. But she has clearly lost weight recently.
She's been on furosemide for fluids lungs (?heart failure) for about 18 months and this has worked very well for keeping her healthy.
Anyhow got home today and the fur on her back was a stuck up mess (semi long haired). I thought she had been lying in a wet patch and so gave her a bath. However it's clear that the fur has been barbered.
Now I'm concerned that she may be in pain and would like to give her some metacam in advance of taking her to the vet tomorrow (pretty sure they'll find nothing though).
Anyhow can I check the dose. Its 0.5mg/ml and I seem to remember 0.1ml, but it might be 0.1g? I'm sure there's a website with the vetinary doses somewhere.
