If you're using a lot of it then it would be a lot cheaper to pay your vet for a printed prescription, mine charge £7.50 then go to et UK who charge £5.14 for 32ml bottle, £12.77 for 100ml bottle or £19.86 for 180ml bottle bearing in mind that it probably only has a shelf life of about 9 months after opened. If you're ordering other stuff such as Fibreplex & Bio-Lapis or Critical Care & can make your order up to £29 you get free postage. I had a large bottle of Metacam in because this was prescribed for our dog but he had a reaction to it so when the vets said for piggies to have Metacam I told them I had it in & they just told me dosage which usually was usually 0.2 or 0.3ml a day. My vets now tends to use Loxicom instead of Metacam because it's cheaper & the same thing but funnily this is dearer from Vet UK. If the vets want you to buy it from them then the price shouldn't be too high & often they need to shop around like we do. When I told them what I was paying for Baytril they said they were paying more than that. With Baytril I worked out I was paying over £70 for 100ml from the vets but only £28 including vets prescription when buying from Vet UK. We spend enough on our piggies without throwing it away & must save where we can.
