Mia , my chinchilla baby

I thought I would post on here as I have shown you lots of pictures of my little chinchilla babies.

On Thursday night Mia was looking very subdued. I took her out and she started rollling, we called every out of hours vet that we could find but none had any chinchilla experience. She had a couple of fits and then was just lying on her side. She went to the bridge while we were still dithering about vets.

Marley was devastated and kept trying to wake her. I feel lost without her, she was only 7 and a half weeks old, I watched her grow up and I thought she would be with me for a long time.

When I first met you I was amazed at how soft and gorgeous you were, you grew up and I waited daily for photo's off your mummy, we used to swap photos of my baby pigs and you and your brother.

Its so surreal that your no longer here with us
