I think midnight has allergies. Whenever have the window open he coughs or sneezes. I know coughing and sneezing are warning signs of a URI. However, he still coughs maybe three times a day, especially when he's excited, and he was JUST on antibiotics and he did it when he was on them all the way through. He was only on the antibiotics as a precaution because of Panda passing away. I'm wondering if its possible he has allergies?

There is a possibility of allergy in guinea pigs. They are not quite easy to diagnose. The important bit is always to exclude a respiratory tract problem first.

Okay. Yea I mean I dont see how it could be a respiratory problem considering he was just on antibiotics.

He was checked over by the vet not even a month ago when he was having the same thing was happenjng which is why I think it has to be allergies. The vet did a full check up and said he looked healthy. I said sometimes he coughs and sneezes and she put him on the antibiotics as a precaution.

What bedding are you using? I had problems with wood shaving when I first got mine, a lot of sneezing, when I switched to fleece they were way better. They obviously still sneeze just as humans do. Is their hay very dusty?

The reason we've said to take him to the vets is... a lot of times when a guinea is coughing and sneezing they have a URI which can kill them as you probably know anyway.

I wonder if @Wiebke would have any more ideas?

I'm thinking it may be his hay, which I did not even think about. Hes in fleece now but I just switched his hay and it is quite dusty. Thank you for all of the advice!
