Midnight Update

A few weeks ago I posted about the possibility of Midnight having allergies as he was coughing and sneezing a bit. I just moved to a new area and as I wanted to find a reliable vet anyways, I took him in for a full check up. To my surprise, his previous vet had not put him on antibiotics like they said and instead I was giving him an anti-diarreah medicine, luckily it was at least safe for him, which I looked up before I gave him anyways. So this new vet, who seems to be really great with piggies, gave him an actual antibiotic and some eye drops. He said Midnight seemed totally healthy and probably had allergies but since his other vet did not even put him on antibiotics, this was a precaution. He also told me to up his vit.c this time of year because of allergies. He absolutely adored Midnight and Midnight took very well to him, even falling asleep while we were at the vet, so that was excellent to see. I'm very pleased and also very happy to know that he IS healthy. Also, he no longer bites. I think he may have been teething or still stressed about Pandas passing at the time. He has also become extremely cuddly, and now that he's getting older and more comfortable, its lovely to see his personaliy showing. Anyways, I just have not posted in a while and wanted to leave an update :)
 
Aw bless him. Sorry the last vet got it wrong, but glad you have found a good one :) Midnight sounds adorable x

Thank you! I certainly think he's the cutest piggy ever :p It is a HUGE relief to have such a reliable vet since I moved. I was worried I would not find a good one near by, but this one is right down the street. Its great!
 
Good vets are like gold! It's taken me a while to find one I'm confident with. So far I'm confident with the on I found from the vet locator, I wish it was up my street though, it's 30 mins drive away and I don't drive!
What a relief your good vet is so close :)
 
I don't drive either so it was key for me to have it close. I can't imagine having the vet so far!
