As some of you may know miga was suffering with heavy breathing weight loss and lack of eating we tried to get her into an emergency vet but had no luck she has now passed on over the rainbow bridge 🌈 goodbye little one you were my best friend as listened when none else would your little licks and squeaks made me all the happier you were truly the most special little baby girl know that I will never forget you now go on to a happier place and popcorn with all the other guinea pigs and remember you left you paw prints in my heart.... goodbye little one

I am so sorry to hear this. I'd been keeping my fingers very firmly crossed in the hope that Miga may be hanging in there long enough against the odds.

Please don't feel guilty or like you have failed Miga. We can only ever do the best we can under the circumstances, and that is all we are required to do. You have done that and booked the first possible vet appointment!
Emergencies have unfortunately a tendency to happen at the worst possible times, as I know from my own struggles and losses over the years. There is sadly no trick in the world to turn us from normal humans into automatic superheros in order to save our pets... All we can do is give our love and good care, and try to do our best in any life & death emergency. :(
