I brought my piggies just over two weeks ago now, and I have the Bluebell Hideaway hutch from Pets At Home for them.
The two times I've cleaned it, I've placed them in at the bottom of the hutch, to encourage them to use the ramp, so they went up it. And never went back down. 😒

My cleaning day is Sunday, and, its been a mission getting them to brave it, but Fudge finally went down the ramp yesterday! And Crumb followed a little while afterwards! Fudge loves it, he's running up and down like he was never scared! Crumb uses it a little less, but he's getting used to it. I'm such a proud pig mum 😌💕

What milestones (or just in general, things they've done) make you a proud piggy parent?

For all my pigs past and present I have been chuffed when they don't run and hide when you enter the room for the first time. :luv: And then even more proud when they first approach you at the side of the cage (even if I know it's because they are begging for food I like to think they love me haha)

In my old house the piggies used to live upstairs so I taught them to climb the stairs. Would always take them a while to get it but once they did they were so quick!

I remember the first time Blitzen took food from my hand and it nearly killed me not to whoop out loud lol.

Also, when Comet had his incident at the vet, and afterwards when he never wanted to be in that room again, he would always run to me. Whilst I was sad that he had a fear of that room in general (although I don't blame him) it was a real confidence boost to know that he trusted me to keep him safe in there.
