Went to see the specialist today bout the blood in Mimsis urine and the suspected stone. He is going to fill Mimsis bldder with liquid on Friday to ascertain exactly what the stone is and also to get a better look the growth surrounding it. If it is a stone he will hopefully be able to remove it. He said that the 'stone' is very far back and couldnt feel any adnormality when he examined Mimsis abdomen. He said he wont operate unless absoloutely necessary and that the bladder test will tell more. I am still feeding Mimsi the critical care feed to make sure he is fighting fit for the op. He said the bleeding is obviously a sign that something is wrong and the longer it is left the worse the prognosis would be. Any thoughts or advice?

no idea, but i wanted to bump this up for you. i hope mimsi's well soon and you're ok too xxxxxxx

Thanks. I have never been so stressed. Its amazing how much these little animals mean to you. Would rather he didnt need an op but the vet seemed to know his stuff and I have to trust him. Will do all I can to help the wee man and if the op is going to help him long term then I will just have to go with it.
