Adult Guinea Pig
Mini Ginga arrived here on the 13th of March from an all animal sanctuary who had taken her in. She had a chest infection, was under weight and pregnant so they asked me to take her in here so she could receive indoor care.
The sanctuary have asked me if I could re-home her once she is fit and so now she is officially a GPRN piggie.
On arrival after a bath
Now she has put on 120g since arriving although I have been very careful with her diet to make sure the babies do not get too big she is tiny only weighing around 600g when she arrived.
She is very nervous of people and has not had much handling in the past but is a sweet natured girl so hopefully will come round. Her chest infection has totally cleared with help from antibiotics and she is feeling a lot healthier. We still have a few more baths to go to get her skin sorted but it is clear and there is hair regrowth so she has been making great progress.
