Feels kinda the right time to post, though not sure if it will ever feel like it.

Minja came with her sister, Teddy, to be put with Ginny after his neuter. While Teddy was generally better having a nap and avoiding drama, Minja was eager to start soaps with Ginny. She often chased me around as fast as she could for pellets and veg and wheeked with the other three to her heart's content when she heard a rustle of a bag or cling of a bowl. I often called her Houdini because of her 10/10 escape skills.

Teddy left to go to rainbow bridge first, suffering an aneurism - rest in peace, Teddy. She was a soft thing at heart despite her annoyance at first being picked up before settling down.

A few weeks ago, maybe a month or more, Minja went to the vet for staggering. She was soon fine with treatment, but a ball of something in her stomach was found at the same time. She went through many vet visits but returned strongly each time and had syringe feeds which she seemed to dislike much more. In any case, whatever was inside her erupted yesterday. Minja left minutes after I found her, on the table in a flare. She was buried shortly after next to Teddy and Nibble, our hamster.

Minja owned her attitude to the very end, and is probably strutting away on the bridge. Love you
