I've noticed that since I've been giving my piggies sliced cucumber instead of chunks that Minnie is making her own crop/cucumber circles. Does anyone else's piggies do this?

 
I have piggies that eat from the inside and those that only eat the outside, so nothing is ever left...
 
My other 3 girls eat the lot so I just throw them into their half of the run & they're soon eaten. I was at the NEGPR 5th Birthday today & none of the paeople I talked to had seen their guinea pigs do this so it must be a pretty rare type of eating behavior.
 
Until I got Minnie, There was none left here too. She's only been doing it in the last couple of weeks though.
 
My boys won't eat cukes. But I find it amazing that Minnie can get the middle out without disturbing the outside!
 
I've never seen her do it but I know it's her & not her partner Mitch as they've only been together for just over a week. I might have to try & set up a web cam to catch her at it!
 
That appears to be the norm. I've just looked inside Minnie's run & there's 2 circles already from this morning's 4. I'm wondering if Mitch, her partner is doing the same or not eating cucumber at all.
 
That is so funny, ours just nom the lot!
