How often can piggies have mint?
Mine looked at it, nibbled it and then started reversing away from it, and then Dot came back and then backed away againI’m not sure. I can’t get any of mine to eat it, so it’s not been an issue here. But generally speaking I’d limit it to once or twice a week if it’s being added to the more usual veggies etc. The diet guide explains what can be eaten more frequently. It’s the phosphorus that causes the stones isn’t it? I’ll still feed it sparingly tho just to be on the safe side. It’s their new favouriteA few times weekly is fine. It contains 243mg of calcium per 100 grams, but its calcium to phosphorus ratio is fine, as it's lower in phosphorus than calcium. Moreover, it's high in fiber and many vitamins, including Vitamin C.![]()

Feeding too much has caused bloat in some of my pigs. So i agree on this@JandfpiggiesUK @SkyPipDotBernie
