Mint

Hey,

I grow my own mint, we have two different types at the moment. Normal mint and Apple mint.
My questions are, can i give them both the leaves and the stems, and do you think the apple mint would be okay to give to them?

No idea on Apple Mint but normal mint is fine, it is high in Calcium so shouldn't be fed in high amounts though

I wish mine would eat mint - I popped some in for the boys and they ran off and hid...think the smell was too strong for their 'delicate' nostrils :x

You can feed any kind of mint or lemon balm, but you may find that the taste is too strong for many piggies' taste buds.

Just going to pop a few leaves in their hutch now and see what they think. I will let you know the results.
