Hello Forum Piggies

We hope you don't mind us approaching you like this as we have only been members for less then 2 weeks but we need help. Our new Slave (who we are still a bit nervous of) is going on something called "a long weekend in New York" tomorrow and we are going off to a place called "Aunty Lilli's" tonight! Thea the old lady who lives in Betsy Towers has told us that "Aunty Lilli's" is a lovely place with lots of piggies to talk to and make friends with. She goes there every time that Slave goes away and is very happy there. Our Slave has promised that she will come to collect us at the end of her weekend away and bring us home. We have had so many homes in the last few weeks that we aren't sure about that. We are starting to like it here and venture a bit out and about when Slave is around and we have both taken a bit of food from Slave's hands so we are beginning to trust her. So I suppose we must trust that she will come and collect us.

Our Slave has reassured us that this is our Forever Home even if we don't like Thea or she doesn't like us and the only other place we will ever go to is this mysterious place called "Aunty Lilli's".

Here's hoping that we aren't abandoned again.

Dear Misty and Bramble,

We can understand your fears, it is really scary being moved from place to place, but do not be worried.
Thea is a wise woman, so I wouldn’t think astray of what she says.

We have been to an aunties before, but not the same one you’ve gone to. Ours only had 3 stars but we still had a fantastic time, all inclusive so water and hay galore, we even saw some sights like their orange couch and their huge tv.

I always say to Reggie, my new baby friend, a hand you can take food from is a hand for life.

Dear Misty and Bramble.

We know that you have been pulled from pillar to post these past few weeks but Thea is right. You will enjoy yourselves while your new mummy goes on holiday and you will be absolutely fine and your mummy will come and collect you in a few days time when she is back home. We appreciate its hard but try not to worry and enjoy yourselves.

Dear Misty and Bramble,
I know exactely how you feel. We had to go to an aunty today as well. Can you believe it?
i sometimes feel that our slave is up and about all the time. We only had to go to piggy granny and granddad for 3 days ... in January. And just before that we had to stay with this aunty where we are now for 5 days ... last September.
I mean, a slave should be around 24 / 7 all the time, shouldn't she?

But on the plus side: It's really nice to eat out from time to time. Our slave left strict instructions on how to feed us, but this aunty is much more suceptible to our cries of hunger and our starving eyes than our slave is.

So try not to worry too much. You will be back home in no time and then you can get your slave to make up for the neglect.

Misty and Bramble,
I know it can be scary when the humans leave and things change, but that's when we have to listen to the veteran piggies who are more familiar with the humans in question. If Thea says that your current human is a good egg who will come back for you and that Aunty Lilli's is a nice place to visit, I'm sure that is the truth!
I was worried the first time my humans took a weekend away, but I had my previous roommates to reassure me, and just like they said, the substitute human was very nice, the normal humans came home, and everything was okay.

PS You should place an order with your human to bring back yummies. Latte and I recommend the Kaytee mini hay bales ... our human found them at somewhere called Petco; I think she said that PetSmart had them, too ... and some local pet stores, too.
