Miss Muffet - they rescue bunny who's owner couldn't afford to feed her but was happy to have a pub lunch - has had her op today to remove her front teeth. You may remember she had a fall on her face as a baby and damaged her teeth.

Her op has gone well and she's back home and seems to be confortable and quite alert. The vet was pleased as her teeth came out very cleanly so he's hoping there will be no regrowth. Here she is looking comfy and enjoying the view of my lounge ..........

And for those of you who aren't too squeamish here are her teeth - abnormally long and curved - it's no wonder she was struggling to eat, bless her.

Think she wants me to put them under her pillow ...............:))

A huge thankyou to everyone who has sent good wishes to Miss Muffet and to Pollie for donating the money for her operation xx>>>

OMG - that is enough to give all upstanding tooth fairies the screaming heebies!

Poor girl; I hope that once her mouth has healed that little Miss M can go on and really enjoy all the food and tlc that is lavished on her!

Oh bless her heart those teeth!

So glad that she has come through the operation well.

Huge huge thankyous to Pollie

I'm so pleased it all went well, and she's far better off without those dreadful teeth. And why do I think she has already found her forever home with Teresa? I don't think I could bear to part with her after all she's been through. She's a darling, and it's wonderful news she's enjoyed her supper tonight.

Thanks to everyone who's made it possible for her to lead a happy life now.

I don't know anything at all about rabbits, but this poor little girls looks like she must have been in so much pain with those fangs. Hope she makes a really good recovery now, and has a lovely happy life. x

You're absolutely right Sue. Miss Muffet is now a permanent resident :)

She's had so much to deal with in her short life but she's one of the most affectionate bunnies I've ever come accross.

Huge thanks to everyone who has sent good wishes to this dear little girl xx>>>

Sorry i missed this thread, its been a hectic few days here.

I'm glad she is doing well and came out of the op, I'm terrified of henry not waking up when he has his taken out :(
Now with one of the buns i got in the other day (toothless) and miss muffet I'm feeling a little more confident that henry will be ok. Thank you for this story.
