I know it was the right decision at the time to surrender Zac back to @furryfriends (TEAS) but I miss having piggies so much. They ‘helped’ me through some stressful times and their little faces (even when they were trying hard to run and hide - looking at you Zac) made my day.

Yesterday would have been Toffee and Fudge’s 7th birthday.

I really hope I can. I used to dread going out in the cold but once I opened that hutch I’d forget all about it! Though my fingers did hurt 😂

BIG HUGS

I dread the day I have my last piggy/piggies... Just coming back from holiday into a quiet house was eerie. The silence was deafening - even hub felt the same.
It is easier when you move to a new place that doesn't have the associations, like when I left my parents' home as a young adult.

But sometimes, memories are just not enough and the loss can feel surprisingly physical and raw. Only time can help...

Hugs 🤗
I understand how you feel.
They do leave such a gap in our lives.
Life changes so one day you will be in a position to give some piggies a wonderful home.
You are too good an owner not to.

I still look in the piggy room for mine, although now it’s full of boxes for moving it’s a bit easier than when it was just an empty cage.

They’re very special creatures aren’t they, they really do get into your heart. All your piggies have been lucky to have such great owners as you and I hope you take some pride in that too. The fact you’re still supporting other piggies via this forum is a testament to your care too!

Sending big hugs, I have some day in the future you can start all over again 🤞
